Audi has announced UAE pricing for the Q6 e-tron, its newest electric SUV that sits between the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron in the lineup. Customer deliveries in the UAE begin in April 2026.

What We Know

The Q6 e-tron is built on Volkswagen Group's PPE platform — shared with the Porsche Macan EV — and is a fundamentally different and more capable architecture than the older MEB platform used in the Q4 e-tron.

UAE receives two variants at launch:

VariantPowerRange (WLTP)Price (AED)
Q6 e-tron quattro387 hp (dual motor)598 km289,000
SQ6 e-tron quattro489 hp598 km349,000

The 800V architecture enables a charging speed of up to 270 kW — adding 260 km in 10 minutes at a compatible charger.

Interior Technology

The Q6 e-tron introduces Audi's new MMI panoramic display — a seamless curved glass surface housing a 14.5-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch passenger display. The system runs Android Automotive natively, enabling direct installation of apps including Google Maps without requiring a phone connection.

What Changed vs Q8 e-tron?

The Q6 is a newer, more advanced architecture. Despite costing AED 40,000 less than the Q8 e-tron, it offers faster charging (270 kW vs 170 kW), a more modern interior, and comparable range. The Q8 e-tron retains its larger body and more premium exterior presence.

What This Means for Buyers

The Q6 e-tron at AED 289,000 occupies a genuinely interesting position in the UAE market. It offers the BMW X5 xDrive50e's footprint and technology at a price AED 100,000 lower — though without the PHEV's flexibility.

For buyers committed to full EV and wanting an Audi badge, the Q6 makes more sense than the Q8 e-tron in 2026.
