Ford Bronco Now Officially Available in UAE: Big Bend and Outer Banks from AED 175,000

Ford's iconic off-roader officially arrives in UAE via Al Tayer Motors. The Bronco 4-door offers genuine body-on-frame credentials at a price that challenges the Jeep Wrangler.

What happened: Al Tayer Motors, Ford's UAE distributor, confirms the Ford Bronco is now officially available at UAE dealerships. When: Available from January 2026 Who it affects: Off-road SUV buyers seeking an alternative to the Jeep Wrangler Key figure: AED 175,000 starting price for the Bronco Big Bend — AED 25,000 less than comparable Wrangler Rubicon Source: Al Tayer Motors UAE press release

Ford's Bronco — one of the most anticipated off-road SUV arrivals in the UAE — is now officially available through Al Tayer Motors dealerships. The 4-door Bronco arrives in two trim levels, both with the 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder and 10-speed automatic.

What We Know

UAE receives two Bronco variants at launch:

TrimPrice (AED)Key Differences
Big Bend175,00017-inch steel wheels, basic off-road pack
Outer Banks205,00018-inch alloys, softtop and hardtop, SYNC4

Both use the 2.3L EcoBoost producing 275 hp and 420 Nm, paired to a 10-speed automatic. Standard equipment on both: 4WD with 2-speed transfer case, front and rear locking differentials, Trail Turn Assist.

Off-Road Credentials

The Bronco's underpinnings are legitimately capable. Ground clearance is 234 mm with the Big Bend's 17-inch tyres — more than a Jeep Wrangler Sport. The front solid axle and rear independent suspension (unusual combination) suits Dubai dune approaches and Hatta's rocky terrain.

The Go Over Anything (GOA) mode optimises throttle, traction and steering for specific terrain — sand, rock and baja modes are all available.

vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (AED 199,000)

The Wrangler's 44-degree approach angle (vs Bronco's 35.5) gives it an advantage on very steep obstacles. The Bronco's deeper wading depth and more comfortable highway manners tip the balance for buyers who mix off-road weekends with daily city driving.

What This Means for Buyers

The Bronco's arrival gives UAE off-road buyers a genuine alternative to the Wrangler for the first time. The AED 175,000 entry price is competitive; the off-road capability is real; and Ford's UAE dealer network is extensive.

What Happens Next

CarsXT will publish a full Bronco vs Wrangler head-to-head test in the Al Hafeet mountain region in Q1 2026.
