Rolls-Royce Spectre Deliveries Begin in UAE: The Electric Grand Tourer Arrives

Rolls-Royce commences Spectre deliveries to UAE customers. The first all-electric Rolls-Royce costs from AED 1.2 million and offers 530 km of near-silent range.

When: First UAE customer deliveries from January 2026 Who it affects: Ultra-high-net-worth UAE buyers and the EV luxury narrative Key figure: AED 1.2 million base price — though most UAE Spectre orders will exceed AED 1.8 million with bespoke specifications Source: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars official statement

Rolls-Royce has commenced Spectre deliveries to UAE customers, marking the arrival of the marque's first fully electric vehicle. The Spectre is built on the SPACEFRAME aluminium architecture and uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing 584 hp and 900 Nm.

What We Know

The Spectre's 530 km WLTP range is the longest of any current luxury EV. UAE customers have reportedly ordered with custom Bespoke colour combinations — Rolls-Royce Abu Dhabi has cited orders finished in bespoke colours referencing the UAE flag and traditional Emirati patterns.

The Spirit of Rolls-Royce in an EV

Rolls-Royce describes the Spectre's driving character as "effortless" — the 900 Nm of torque available from standstill produces what the company calls "Magic Carpet Ride" in an entirely new way. The electric powertrain eliminates the gear changes that represent the only remaining mechanical intrusion in a conventional Rolls-Royce's journey.

The cabin is the standard: leather everywhere measurable, Starlight Headliner with 1,340 fibre-optic lights, and a Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament that retracts electrically.

What This Means

The Spectre's arrival in UAE carries significance beyond the transaction: a AED 1.2 million+ EV being delivered to customers validates the technology at the absolute apex of the luxury market. If the most discerning buyers in the world's most demanding climate are accepting electric powertrains, the technology has genuinely arrived.

What Happens Next

Rolls-Royce has indicated further Spectre variants are under development. The Cullinan EV is expected to follow in 2027–2028. UAE customers interested in the Spectre should contact Rolls-Royce Dubai or Abu Dhabi showrooms directly.
