DFSK (Dongfeng Sokon) was established in 2003 as a commercial vehicle joint venture between Dongfeng Motor and Chongqing Sokon Industries. Starting with light commercial vans, DFSK expanded into passenger vehicles as demand for affordable SUVs surged across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
