Foton

Foton Motor was founded in 1996 in Beijing as a commercial vehicle manufacturer under the state-owned Beijing Automotive Group. Starting with trucks and agricultural vehicles, Foton grew rapidly into one of China's largest commercial vehicle producers by volume. The company later expanded into passenger vehicles and pickup trucks for export markets, particularly targeting regions with strong commercial and agricultural demand. Foton's partnership with Daimler further elevated its technical capabilities.
