Maxus

Maxus is the international commercial vehicle brand of SAIC Motor, China's largest state-owned automaker, established as a distinct brand in 2011. The Maxus name has British origins — it was the name used by LDV Group's van operations in Birmingham before SAIC acquired the assets in 2010. SAIC used LDV's engineering expertise as a foundation to build Maxus into a global light commercial vehicle brand. Maxus has found particular success in electric vans and people carriers across Europe and the Middle East.
