Pagani Automobili was founded in 1992 by Argentine-born engineer Horacio Pagani in Modena, Italy, the spiritual home of Italian supercars. Horacio had previously worked for Lamborghini, where he pioneered the use of carbon fibre in automotive construction. His debut car, the Zonda, launched in 1999 and stunned the supercar world with its extraordinary craftsmanship and exotic styling. Pagani builds each car almost entirely by hand in tiny numbers, making it one of the world's most exclusive and artisanal automotive brands.
