Changan

Changan Automobile's roots stretch back to 1862 when it was established as a weapons manufacturer for the Qing dynasty — making it one of the world's oldest vehicle producers. It transitioned to automotive manufacturing in the 1950s and grew rapidly through government backing and joint ventures with Ford and Mazda. Changan is now one of China's four largest auto groups with millions of annual sales. Its ambition to lead China's electric transformation has accelerated dramatically in recent years.
