Zeekr was established in 2021 by Geely Group as a premium EV brand targeting a younger, globally minded audience. Unlike Geely's mainstream brands, Zeekr was built from scratch with a digital-first philosophy — the entire purchase, ownership and service experience was designed to be app-centric. The 001 shooting brake and 009 electric van broke new ground in their respective segments. Zeekr draws on the shared SEA platform developed with Volvo, giving its cars the engineering depth of a European brand.
